Within the framework of the activities of the Institutional Excellence Grant for NGOs... implemented with 55 NGOs in 16 governorates, Technical support visits were organized for 51 NGOs during the period from October to December 2023, with a total of 80 field visits to the targeted NGOs.

During these field visits the following was done:

Participate in the first meeting of the Institutional Development Committee formed by each organization and review its roles and responsibilities for the grant.

Display the results of the pre-institutional evaluation that was conducted for the organization during the last period.

Review the executive intervention plan for institutional development activities intended to be implemented during the coming period.

Review of the graduation project for the training “Methodology of community study based on community participation and training in designing development projects and writing funding proposals,” where organizations are tasked at the end of each training to submit a graduation project and then provide technical support By the Arab Center team to apply what was acquired in training.

It is worth noting that the grant is in its first session and applications have been opened during the month of August 2023, and 163 NGOs from 23 governorates have applied for the grant. According to a number of criteria, 55 civil society organizations were selected, representing 16 governorates.
